Usually, when people get together on a creative writing course, the writing they do disappears with the participants. Often the fragments resulting from the writing exercises, are never brought together as a completed whole, or if they are, they don’t reach a readership beyond the writer’s immediate circle. This book changes that. It’s a diverse collection of short stories resulting from a course that focused on writing in that form. The stories have in common the theme of Sussex, where all of the writers live and write, but that is where the similarity begins and ends. Each story offers something different, an eclectic mix of topics and styles, to suit a variety of tastes. We hope that you’ll enjoy them all.
