DescriptionWriting for wellbeing is about using the power of words and creative writing to explore yourself, your life and your thoughts and feelings. assisting in maintaining or improving a sense of personal wellness.

This course will use a variety of journaling techniques, based on the natural world, to introduce activities that you can extend into your everyday life, should you wish to do so. Each session will hold a space for you to reflect, express yourself and be creative. The intended programme is as follows:

Week 1 – Weather – using springboards into writing

Week 2 – Animals – trying flow and cluster writing

Week 3 – Natural objects – using objects to prompt reflection

Week 4 – Seasons – having a go at haiku writing

Week 5 – Sea – writing using our different senses.

Anything elseYou might want to purchase a notebook specifically for your journaling, either A5 or A4 is ideal, but all you really need is a pen and paper or a laptop/tablet should you prefer.
