Our goals as writers can be as diverse as we are! However, in order to achieve our ambitions it often pays to plan ahead. At this time of year, Christmas is looming on the horizon and beyond that, the blank page of a new year. How are you going to fill that? If you know where you are going it is often possible to break down that ultimate goal into smaller steps. This could be as simple as increasing your reading in a particular genre, creating a regular writing habit, connecting with other writers or improving your skills.
